This is Academy's 1/48 F4U-1 Birdcage Corsair, built using the kit's decals. They were a headache.

I repositionated tail horizontal stabilizers (cutting them off and repositioning) and added some Eduard seat belts.

 

My Corsair is painted with Model Masters enamels, lightened the topside panels to simulate sun fading. The canopy was coated with Future, and oil washes were applied to all panels.

 

 

The paint chipping was done with silver pencil.
