Description
Here is AMtech's 1/48 scale Focke-Wulf Ta 183 built straight from
the box.

This kit was re-issued by Tamiya, and this is the version that I
built. The new boxing included the Kettenkrad and figures that had
previously been issued with their Me 262A-2a kit.
My model was
painted using the Testor Aztek A470 airbrush.
The camouflage
pattern was fictional, as befitting an aircraft that never actually
saw Luftwaffe service. I repainted the upper surface camouflage
pattern several times before I was eventually satisfied.

The little Kettenkrad is a great model in its own right and a very
quick, easy build. I adapted the pilot figure to ride in the back of
the tiny tractor.
