Welsh Models' 1/144 scale
C-119 Flying Boxcar

Frank Cuden

Description
Yet another addition to my showcase, the Welsh Models 1/144th C-119 in U. S. Marine markings.

The kit is multi-media with vacuformed fuselage, white metal props and landing gear, a clear astrodome and the rest of the parts in resin. Many additions, from gust locks to fuselage gas tank vents, were added during the course of the build.
I used Testor's Model Master, Floquil and White Ensign Models paint with decals scrounged from my stash.

A full-build article will be submitted to FineScale Modeler Magazine for their consideration.
